About Angela

Hello my name is Angela Rausch and I’m trained in spiritual direction to companion others seeking spiritual guidance. My healing ministry began in the pharmacy profession. After being a pharmacist for many years I realized that true healing often goes beyond the boundaries of traditional medicine. Because I was born and raised Catholic, I chose to explore my desire to help others build their relationship with God by going to Santa Clara University where I received a MA in Pastoral Ministries. My last class at Santa Clara, Ministering to the Religious Other, was particularly inspiring, for it opened in me the notion that God has many names. This led me to reflect more deeply on the idea of God and the cosmos in ways I had not thought of before and decided to enroll in the interfaith spiritual direction program at the Chaplaincy Institute, ChI, in Berkeley, California. While studying at ChI, I have looked at different spiritual traditions and how they express and connect to their notion of the Divine. It is my intent to be a spiritual companion to those who are walking a spiritual path of healing. I bring the gift of helping others build a more intimate relationship with the Divine as they walk the path towards healing. My hobbies include, reading, biking, running, walking, baking, yoga and poetry.

Angela is a trained pharmacy professional and a spiritual companion. Since childhood, Angela has practiced her Catholic faith, and this faith led her Santa Clara University’s Graduate Program in Pastoral Ministries. While raising a family, Angela completed the MA program in Pastoral Ministries, which introduced her to Berkeley, California’s Chaplaincy Institute (ChI) interfaith spiritual direction program. Angela’s vocation and spiritual desire has been to help others heal and now her passion is to walk beside those that seek a spiritual path with the Divine. Everyday Angela finds God in her reading, biking, running, walking, baking, yoga, and poetry. And she is learning that in fact: dog is God spelled backwards.
